Kayli Yue, BCBA, MA.Ed.

Regional Program Manager

Overview: Kayli is a Regional Program Manager at Club Xcite. She is a creative problem solver with over 10 years experience in the field of Special Education. She uses her keen observation skills to remain curious about how the environment around us affects our behavior and in turn, how our actions can impact the people around us. Kayli strives to treat each day as an opportunity to share kindness and empower others to continue on their journey towards joy. She loves jumping into a moment of play with a learner and seeing through their perspective and has a passion for collaboration, improving communication, and ongoing learning.

Education: Kayli began her career at the University of Georgia to receive her teaching credentials with a BA in Special Education for Adaptive Curriculum K-12. During that time, she studied abroad to support a diverse population at specialized schools in Cork, Ireland. San Diego State University brought her to California where she went on to pursue her Masters of Arts in Education with a Specialization in Autism and Secondary Transition (18-22+) while becoming a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. During this time, Kayli supported research (CSESA) as a coach for teachers to implement evidence based strategies in their classrooms. Kayli also holds a CLEAR/Level 2 California Teaching Credential Education Specialist certification to support K-12 Moderate/Profound populations.

Experience: Starting in high school, Kayli volunteered with Best Buddies and Special Olympics while building relationships with her exceptional peers in her local community. This set her on a path to seek further skills to effect change in other's lives. Throughout college, Kayli worked as a Registered Behavior Technician shaping cognitive and social development. In addition to providing ABA therapy in the community, Kayli completed her practicum in classrooms from elementary to high school in Georgia and San Diego, and solidified her passion for providing services to support students with gaining meaningful life skills and vocational training. After graduation, Kayli began her career as a BCBA designing programs for children and adults in collaboration with their families to make the most impact on socially significant goals, leading social skills groups, and conducting assessments.  She continues to seek specialized knowledge to better understand supportive tools for each neurotype and their unique challenges. She also had the opportunity to train and mentor others to build the knowledge and confidence of parents and professionals to support their learners outside of their time together.

Hobbies & Skills: In her free time, Kayli goes to nature to recharge and revitalize. You can find her on the weekends at local beaches with her dog, on a hike with friends and family, or traveling to absorb the world's wonders. Dance and creative movement to music has always been a part of her life and is still one of her favorite coping skills. She also enjoys working on creative projects like crafts, puzzles, or Legos.

Why Club Xcite? Kayli joined Club Xcite to build on their unwavering mission to create innovative solutions for students, their teachers and caregivers, and the schools that serve them. When quality professionals are matched with the right environment, the magic that happens is why Kayli works to ensure every student has access to compassionate and individualized care to learn and thrive. She hopes to empower the Xcite team to leave a lasting, positive impression everywhere we've earned the privilege to provide support.
